WASTE SOLUTIONS

Zero Waste2Landfill

Our Commitment

Many providers promise they can help you avoid landfill disposal through their Waste-to-Energy (WtE) but none can offer you a guaranteed option that your Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and Bio-medical Waste will be accepted 100% of the time. Since SERS owns and operates its WtE facilities, we can guarantee capacity for waste at one of our facilities. If you are already working with a third-party waste hauler and doing it independently, SERS gives you the option that you never have to compromise your Zero Waste2Landfill commitment.

Environmental Footprint Improvement Programs (EFIP)

After the waste passes through our recycling waste separation process, the remaining waste materials goes directly through our Zero Waste2Landfills Gasification solution. The materials are used to generate clean, renewable energy.  Our WtE facilities perform better than what is allowed by government permits while providing ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling. WtE can offer you serious greenhouse gas and waste lifecycle benefits resulting in less environmental impact than disposing of them in a landfill.

Environmental Liability Avoidance

Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and/or Bio-medical Waste received in our facility are processed within 24-hours by using our state of the art gasification technology which processes materials at temperatures of 1,100° C (2,200° F). This process provides a molecular destruction of the waste. Meaning that within 24 hours and using our gasification process your organization will avoid environmental liability. Compare that with other waste disposal options that expose your organization to liability like landfills where your waste is kept intact for hundreds of years.

Why SERS?

There are many waste disposers that claim to offer Zero Landfill services but none of them can match our Clean, Reliable and Trusted capabilities. SERS can provide benefits such as guaranteed waste acceptance and our guarantee that your waste will be processed once received. By doing business with SERS, your organization will achieve its Zero Waste2Landfill commitment.

Zero Waste2Landfill

Recycle2Reuse

SERS team members have been closely involved in the design, development, implementation and operations and maintenance (O&M) of Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) for processing Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) since the introduction of MRFs in the 1980s. They understand how fully automated MSW Sorting Systems can provide a significant improvement to traditional MRF operations by processing materials that are typically bound for a landfill. It is estimated that as much as 40% of most MSW streams could be recovered in the form of paper, plastics, wood, and metals, as well as an additional 30-40% in the form of organic materials.

An all-inclusive mixed solid waste processing system employs sophisticated front-end sorting technology to recover commodities with value for resale or reuse. The remaining MSW can be segregated to isolate organics, providing feedstock for an anaerobic digestion system. SERS' Recycle2Reuse all-inclusive system creates value by recovering additional commodities for sale, saving your organization disposal and transportation costs, and preparing the organic fraction for use in an energy development process.

Our Technology

SERS uses a series of unique and patented process steps and operational procedures to effectively and efficiently recover the highest amount of materials at prices comparable to a traditional transfer station.
